  Hunter College School of Social Work Library
http://library.hunter.cuny.edu/ssw/ The Hunter College School of Social Work Library is a graduate and doctoral level branch of the Hunter College libraries. It occupies the second floor of the School of Social Work building at 129 East 79th Street. The Library's mission is to support the curriculum needs of the School of Social Work and to maintain a collection that reflects the wide interests and ongoing research in the field of social work. The Library's patrons are primarily the students of the School, but it is open to all students, faculty and staff of the City University of New York. In addition, it serves, both on its premises and through interlibrary loan, educational and special institutions throughout the city and country, according to various contractual multi-system Library agreements. These reciprocal agreements allow the School's students and faculty to have similarly extensive access to a multitude of collections. The Social Work Library is staffed by two professional librarians, two paraprofessionals and a cadre of student workers.

  Social Welfare Library

Founded in 1957, the library was established to meet the needs of the faculty and students of the School of Social Welfare. It is also used by visiting scholars, alumni, and the general public. The library moved into its present quarters in 1986.
